Situated on an intersection with a church, a pub and a betting shop, Tina, We Salute You is gentrification at its glorious best. There’s plenty of natural light, an homage to handbags, and indecipherably ironic things like “Trannie Deconstruction” written on the walls. But the cafe has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, is well laid out with a central communal table, serves good coffee, and rotates the artwork (e.g. handbags and trannie text).
