The Pudding Stop will take you back to your school days with its rows of wooden benches and long tables. As the name would suggest, classic British puddings served with fresh vanilla custard or cream are the main attraction. The sticky toffee pudding and apple crumble come highly recommended. The menu offers just one savoury option – a bacon bap available before noon - and specialty coffee from Climpson and Sons – the coffee more than holds its own with venues where that is the focus. And, if you’re feeling particularly indulgent, there’s a range of desert wines to enjoy with your pudding.

It’s a spacious venue with plenty of room for pushchairs which makes it a perfect spot for a long catch-up if you have little ones. And a weekly film night draws a crowd on Sundays – check the website though for the latest information.
