Tarrant Street Espresso
17 Tarrant St, Arundel BN18 9DG, UK
Editor's Review
This tiny one man band cafe takes its name from the picturesque street of antiques dealers it’s tucked away on. It’s minimalist in design, with white walls and a plywood counter and shelving, but makes the most of the tight space. There’s only room for a couple of tables inside and out and a small cluster of bar stools in one corner, but the welcome is warm.
Chalked up on the blackboard is the one sandwich option of the day, prepared fresh to order. My flat white made using Square Mile’s seasonal espresso blend was expertly pulled on the La Marzocco, with perfect milk texturing and latte art. Just need to find time to go back and try the delicious looking brownies I spotted in amongst the other baked goods on the counter.
