Before Third Wave coffee became the stuff of corporate consolidation, it was big news when Stumptown moved East, bringing with it this first – and truly stylish – outpost in the lobby of the posh Ace Hotel. While it remains a reliable coffee stop (as well as a see-and-be-seen spot – you're encouraged to take your drink into the hotel's spacious, wingback-chair-filled lobby and enjoy their WiFi), it's also become a bit of a Stumptown brand testing ground.

As the company edges more and more into grab-and-go drink territory, you'll find no fewer than a dozen (!) iterations of cold brew here, from cartons to cans to draft options, from single origins to seasonal spice. The mind truly boggles. Enjoy treats by Ovenly, Roberta's and the Doughnut Plant while you decide which style of cold brew – oh, they also prepare normal hot coffee and espresso, too – you're there for.
