Kit and Ace, a technical clothing and accessory company founded in Vancouver, BC, was looking for a brand extension and a way to create a unique shopping experience in its Yorkville store. Named as a nod to Canadian culture and its tendency to apologize, the company created Sorry Coffee Co, a specialty coffee shop located in its own end of the retail space to create a seamless collaboration.

Not surprisingly, being that the company is born from a stylish clothing brand, the shop is beautiful and the drinks served match the quality of the clothes. Copper equipment and accents dominate the space to create a beautiful visual display on top of the white and grey granite bar and black herringbone rear wall.  Geometric light fixtures hang around the space and if you want to represent the brand around town, it only costs two dollars to get a Sorry enamel pin out of the classic toy vending machine.

Only espresso-based coffee is available in this cashless café, with the beans being sourced from two roasteries, Blue Copper Roasters and Rabbit Hole Roasters (who provide a house blend exclusively for Sorry).
