Rooster Coffee House’s location on Broadview Ave across from Riverdale Park is an absolute dream for locals. Do you enjoy taking your dog for a walk with a hot drink? Great, the park is one of Toronto’s best places to stretch your legs. Prefer to sit out on the patio and relax? No problem, a European-style patio overlooks one of the most stunning skyline views the city has to offer. Or do you want to kick back and appreciate the vibe of a bustling neighbourhood café? They have that to, with cushioned lounge chairs and a living room vibe.

The space inside is similar to Rooster’s other locations with what has become their recognizable brand of comforting design. Antique chandeliers, worn hardwood, area rugs, exposed brick and wainscoting on the side walls make this place incredibly warm and inviting. A tilted mirror hangs behind the bar in between white subway tiles and wooden shelving to allow customers to witness their barista’s technique on Rooster’s white La Marzocco FB80. This place is lovely and a wonderful representation of a classic neighbourhood coffee shop.
