Redemption Roasters (Coal Drop Yard)

Redemption Roasters is more than an ordinary roaster & coffee shop. Behind every bean is a story. In order to manifest their mission of successfully reintegrating offenders into society, Redemption Roasters trains them in roasting and barista skills. Their roastery is located at Aylesbury Prison, but once offenders are released Redemption helps them find jobs in the specialty coffee industry. Redemption says “the result is a finely crafted cup of coffee that raises the bar for everyone”. 

 

Besides the socially conscious coffee, the café is beautifully designed in the Coal Drops Yard in Kings Cross. The exposed brick on the inside of the café matches the overall design of Coal Drops Yard, adding to the industrial and rustic atmosphere.
