Pilot Coffee Roasters
65 Front St W, Toronto, ON M5J 1E6, Canada
Editor's Review
As part of the ongoing renovations to Toronto’s Union Station, a welcome change has been made to the the food and drink experience. What used to be a run down and drab concourse through which you'd pass to get from point A to point B is now the Front Street Promenade. Taking advantage of the historic architecture and giving a face-lift to the space, the Promenade now features a number of retail stores and restaurants, including Pilot Coffee Roasters.
Upgrading from their previous Union Station kiosk to a brand new shop front, Pilot provides a full coffee menu and cold food for takeaway. In what is a great choice to avoid any feelings of congestion in an already narrow space, shots are pulled on an undercounter Modbar and batch brew is prepared with a Marco Jet 6. The quality of food and drink in Union Station has now been elevated on all fronts, and whether you're setting off on an adventure or just arriving via GO Train for your day job, the coffee experience in Union is now a destination, not a last resort.
