Nylon Coffee is a popular cafe tucked away in a public housing estate in Everton Park. It is difficult to miss the entrance as the crowd often spills over, even when it is near to the closing time. The founders, Lee and Tang, used to live in New York and London. It was in these cities that their passion for coffee starting brewing, before eventually translating it into a business which was aptly named as NY-LON. Since then, in their relentless pursuit of quality coffee beans, the team at Nylon travels long distances yearly to visit farms and their overseas partners.

In return, their customers are rewarded with fragrant black and white coffee, with the latter milk-based coffee offered in cup sizes of 3 oz., 5 oz. And 7 oz. The menu is pleasantly simple and straightforward. You will not find the usual Cappuccino, Americano or Latte. Neither are there any food options. We recommend outdoor seating as a tranquil spot for a quiet afternoon. If you are lucky, grab a standing space indoor and you may watch Lee or Tang roasting their coffee the roasting room, “The Maillard Project”, on a Probat L5 Roaster.
