Mouse Tail (Borough)
211 Borough High St, SE1 1JA
Editor's Review
Clergyman John Harvard was born in Southwark in 1607, 30 years later he sailed to Massachusetts and was the first benefactor of Harvard University and one of the founders. As well as a University, John Harvard has a bridge named after him and also this Library in Borough sited very close to where Harvard grew up. Mouse Tail Coffee Stories set up a cafe inside the library and this has been a great boon for Southwark locals.
Mouse Tail who have two coffee trucks and two brick and mortar coffeeshops emphasise espresso based drinks roasted by Mission Coffee Works and friendly service but at this locaton v60 filters and a range of food are also available. There’s lots of seating both in comfortable chairs and on long communal tables and of course, plenty of reading material...
