Mokoko Coffee & Bakery
2 Gaol Ferry Steps, Bristol BS1 6WE, UK
Editor's Review
Mokoko's first Bristol coffee shop almost feels like a restaurant; it's a large space and the added working bakery gives it a more culinary feel than its first two shops. There is ample seating inside and out and there is an extensive drinks menu combined with a self-service pastry and cake section, and a lunch offering towards midday.
The new space, in Bristol's Wapping Wharf, has a very Scandinavian industrial feel thanks to lots of wood and some well used accent colours. The bustling bakery section is an added bonus for those sitting in due to its openness and central location in the shop.
Mokoko's house blend is roasted by James Gourmet and they also offer guest coffees from other speciality roasteries. As well as their large selection of coffees and food, there is also a good retail selection.
