MATAMATA COFFEE
35 Rue du Louvre, 75002 Paris, France
Editor's Review
In the atrium of a business/hotel (we weren't quite sure), but open to the public, is the newest offering from Matamata. It's a very open space - you might not see much seating but there's quite a lot if you walk past the bar.
There's a lot of equipment for the one-man team, but it's used well. It feels clean and bright and very professional - it's been designed well to fit in to the space it fills.
The café serves good coffee, but it's probably not the kind of place you'd go to unless you wanted to work - there's the first Matamata around the corner, which has a lot more soul.
