March Coffee
87 South St, Exeter EX1 1EQ, UK
Editor's Review
March Coffee is situated on the quieter end of Exeter city centre; that said, it's not quiet inside, which is testament to the quality café that they have created. Inside there's a mix of plywood, concrete, and wooden walls, combined with bright blue stalls and plenty of space to sit. There's a slight semi-permanent feel to it, which we hope won't be the case as it's a great space and a welcome addition to Exeter's growing coffee scene.
Brunch is served Friday to Sunday, but there are a range of baked goods on offer that look very appealing. Staff are friendly and attentive, in a good way and not in an annoying way.
Coffee is made well, the baristas are clearly trained properly (the owner is an ex-Caravan employee who has moved back to Devon), but what's most evident is the care and attention that goes in to everything and not just the coffee. This place is worth a visit.
