Léandrés
78 Rue de Maubeuge, 75009 Paris, France
Editor's Review
This bright, convivial cafe opened in the summer of 2017 and is run by a Colombian and French couple; their respective influences show in the cafe's South American food, delicious empanadas and arepas served up with a European twist.
The coffee is slot-roasted at Beans on Fire, a local roasters in the 11th arrondisement and is sweet and fruity.
This cafe's real charm, though, is its ambience. Plants hang from the ceiling alongside soft, yellow lights, creating a lovely, warm glow that matches the owners' friendly demeanour. It's a real find on one of Paris' less glamorous thoroughfares and a perfect spot to relax, with ample seating.
