It’s a pleasure to see a coffeeshop of this quality on Upper Street. There are genuine Swedish influences from owner Leo Stervander and a strong focus on quality and hospitality. Caravan coffee is well made, whether in espresso based drinks, pourover or a deliciously dosed Swedish style batch brew brewed to be deep, rich and smooth. Loose leaf teas are by The Tea Makers and there are fresh cold pressed juices and smoothies – Kobo emphasises clean eating and careful sourcing. Milk is by Brades Farm and there are a range of non-dairy alternatives. Most of the foods and cakes are naturally free of lactose and gluten. Food includes organic toasts and open sandwiches, gluten free wraps, raw food snacks, tasty salads and healthy breakfast options. Although the downstairs area is narrow, there’s a comfortable seating area upstairs.
