Smack on the main drag of Hermannstraße, Isla Coffee is a welcome addition to this, until recently, underserved corner of Neukölln. The shop is spacious, airy and as relaxed as it comes in Berlin - to the point where the barrier between customer and barista is close to non-existent.

As you’d expect with such a large space, there is seating galore: from street-side benches, to courtyard crates, and traditional table seating inside. The vibe is perfect, the coffee top notch, the baristas are welcoming and the decor is super fine. A great spot to while away a summer or two.
