Irving Farm Coffee Roasters — Midtown East
135 E 50th St, New York, NY 10022, USA
Editor's Review
Irving Farm's Midtown East space is tucked in between a cluster of hotels off of Lexington, seemingly a cafe that caters to the tourists and office workers of the area. However, it posses a charm and quality that's applicable to all coffee drinkers alike.
Irving Farm Coffee Roasters was an early pioneer of specialty coffee in New York City, starting with their location on Irving Place and growing rapidly into a food-and-coffee focused local chain with focus on sustainability. With a full brunch menu of egg dishes, sandwich and salad classics with unique ingredients, plus simpler takeaway items like pastries and bagels, you can also top it all off with wine and beer here. The cafe is dark, elegant and low-key at the same time. Tiled and deep blue walls, pine pillars, and dimly lit crosshatched wire bulbs make this a spot for quiet conversation, and ample seating encourages this even more, with both bar stools and tables scattered in this mid-size space.
