Gregorys Coffee — Wall Street
100 Wall St, New York, NY 10005, USA
Editor's Review
If you've been around New York for awhile, you've probably seen Gregorys' iconic glasses – the trademark depiction of the founder's coffee-cup spectacles and impressive hairdo – all over Manhattan. Gregorys Coffee, who roasts and bakes their own supply of beans and pastries, makes craft coffee and quality treats something that you can experience on-the-go, and subtly exudes a health-conscious vibe that you don't typically expect from New York cafes.
Their Wall Street spot is a kiosk-type situation, and you're likely to join the hoards of businessmen and women flooding these tiny quarters for a brew during lunch. Like many of their locations, this one also has a mix of black and grey accents paired with rustic woods and roped bulb lights, creating chic yet welcoming vibes on your run here. Photographs of latte art, the farms, and New York streets are also framed throughout, showcasing the chain's proud NY origins. As for its coffee, feel free to indulge in a variety of brews, whether you want to keep it simple with espresso-milk beverages (almond and soy are the non-dairy alternatives), a cold brew, or three different single origin AeroPresses. Healthy treats include several different protein smoothies and housemade "mylks" with wellness-inspired ingredients.
