Coffee and cycling culture have always gone hand in hand. In the summer months, enjoying an espresso on the patio of your favourite shop is the best way to start and end a long ride. Shop owners have been taking advantage of this trend for years with the key being about creating a sense of community. Fix Coffee + Bikes has succeeded in doing just that.

Nestled into a residential area of Little Portugal in an old Portuguese grocery store, it's the perfect location to pull up with your bike and enjoy an experience. Since they have a bike shop connected to the café, you could even get your ride tuned up while you drink your coffee and have a bite to eat. The coffee is from De Mello Palhetta Coffee Roasters and is served on a Modbar with sandwiches, soups and salads available all week long, but with an extended menu available for brunch on weekends. 

A set of large sliding glass doors allow natural light to flood through the café, but also give access to the outdoor patio in the summer. Locals can lounge in the sunshine with a coffee while proudly showing off their wheels.
