Blue Bottle Coffee — High Line
16th St. above 10th Ave. Chelsea Market Passage, NY, NY
Editor's Review
A stroll along New York City's picturesque freight-tracks-turned-elevated-city-park wouldn't be complete without a cup of coffee, and the ubiquitous Blue Bottle has stepped in with an outpost on the west side walkway – a mere block away from the company's first Manhattan cafe below. Although the operation formerly stood as a fuller outdoor coffee pop-up, Blue Bottle has since minimalized the setup to match the other quality grab-and-go treats that you can consume on the High Line, like paleta fruit popsicles and ready-made gourmet ice cream sandwiches.
A simple cold brew kiosk, this spot gives the people what they want and stat – either a single origin cold brew or the sweet signature New Orleans chicory roast, both served on tap and refreshingly cold. Add a splash of almond milk to get the most out of this beverage, or pair it with the small selection of housemade pastries available before you make your way down the sunny aisle of tanning New Yorkers and tourists. Open till November.
