The HQ for Axil Coffee Roasters is home to not only the process of the incredible transformation of taking beans from originand roasting them into what packs your cup with all those tremendous flavours, but is also their training and development studio. Priding themselves on Direct Trade – meaning direct communication and visits to farms – everything assessed and scored for quality, paying 25% above Fair Trade and maintaining social and economical responsibilities. They also boast a strong competition team with a former three time Australian Champion, to present and justify the efforts of all the above – coffee lovers are in good company.

The full-length bar leads up to the semi-open kitchen where locally sourced produce is garnished and plated up. The venue itself has the feel of a decked out warehouse – polished concrete floors support a levelled wooden flooring seating area green, walled by succulents and ferns vertically aligned by construction lattice. There's plenty of seating across all levels, including outdoor for whatever your mood, and multitude of options for beverages should you not want coffee, pairing with the well designed range of flavours and options on the menu.
