The new 19grams, from the team behind Tres Cabezas, on Chausseestraße is likely the first specialty coffee bar with table service in Berlin. The café is run by the affable Vinny - a familiar face to anyone who has visited Pavilion Cafe along London’s Broadway Market in the past. Batch brew is on offer daily along with traditional espresso-based drinks. The space is large, nicely arranged and more refined than Tres Cabezas’s original two cafés. It represents a substantial step forward towards a more professional approach, however, Vinny and the staff ensure the down-to-earth nature you expect from Tres Cabezas remains in tact.
