Despite the serious name, this café is staffed by some of the friendliest baristas in town. The atmosphere is relaxed, there is plenty of space to sit and enjoy a pastry with a view of Leather Lane that will never disappoint. This is the first outpost of the successful Coffeesmith (now Department of Coffee and Social Affairs) mini-chain with cafes now ranging from the City to Soho. Expect a serious committment to quality beans as they roast their own and an active schedule of cuppings and classes across all their locations.
