Coffeeworks is much needed addition to the generally miserable coffee zone near Angel tube station. Down Camden Passage, the cafe is large (including a garden) and aesthetically pleasing, from the brushed steel shell of the Slayer to the attractive door handles. The staff is dedicated and the owner appears to be it in for the long run.

As for the coffee, it's early days, and the consistency doesn't quite live up to the machinery, but with time things will improve. Regardless, Islington is now a better place thanks to Coffeeworks.
