Nestled in a cozy corner of Gillett Square is a small but perfectly executed café owned by two sisters Nae Nae (Sinead) and Natasha.  Brunswick East stand out by making many of their ingredients from scratch such as butter, jam and almond milk.  Try Natasha’s favourite: chilli eggs. Because Brunswick East use local bakers The Dusty Knuckle you can expect quality, knowing that the sourcing of ingredients is about as local and sustainable as you can get. Their coffee offer is well worth mentioning. Square Mile provide espresso offer but they have several other guest filters too from including Curve Roasters. There are numerous alternative drinks (cocktails at night) and tea from Japanese producers Idduku (including matcha lattes). Look out too for bespoke drinks to soothe and cleanse your palate like turmeric, honey and cinnamon.

Get yourselves over to Dalston Kingsland and head to Gillet Square for an authentic Antipodean café experience with courtyard outdoor seating. It’s certainly a real respite from the busy Kingsland road.
